JS Class 2-8-2 JS 8200, which was built at Datong Works in 1987 had worked on China Rail round Zhengiatun on the Taipingchuan Line until 1997, it then moved to Tonghua for its last few years of service with China Rail until November 1999. JS 8200 today is preserved and is located on display the Da’an Locomotive Expo Park at Da’an Bei in Jilin, Northeast China.
