JS 6481 today is preserved and is located on display the Da’an Locomotive Expo Park at Da’an Bei in Jilin, Northeast China.

The ex China Rail JS Class JS 2-8-2 JS 6481, which was built at Datong Works in 1986, and had spent much of its working life round the Jinzhou area of China Rail, where it worked until 1994, when it was transferred to Da’an Bei in Jilin, Northeast China, where it worked until 1998. JS 6481 is preserved and is now on display at the Da’an Locomotive Expo Park at Da’an Bei in Jilin, Northeast China.
