This is a 2-4-0ST locomotive, but it was built as 0-6-0ST

This Locomotive is a 2-4-0T. It was built as an 0-6-0T, and 30”, But was later converted to narrow gauge and had the rods connecting the second axle to the first removed, making it a 2-4-0T, similar to how the John Bull was modified.

It was used on a portage railway between Carcros and Atlin about 50 miles away. Some times they had to push it up the 4% grade. Primitive in all likes, original wood then coal then oil. Replaced then moved to WP&Y main line. Good looking restored shape, probable was built as a 2-4-0 unless did major body work. 3rd oldest modern steam locomotive in Canada.

White Pass & Yukon Route not White Pass & Yukon RR as indicated not WP&YR No.2 it was named Duchess and never had a WP&YR number originally 30" converted to 36" by WP&YR

The database used to say that this locomotive was a 2-4-0T.  Was it converted?  If so, then shouldn't the empty weight and weight on drivers be the same?
