The "Alco-Montreal Construction Number List" indicates that Construction Numbers 52657 through 52686, Road Numbers 1231 through 1260 were shipped to "Canadian Pacific" during the April through June time period of 1913. If the Road Numbers increased sequentially with the Construction Numbers, this unit's original Road Number would be 1234. All of these units were 4-6-2's and had a "Specified" weight of 223,000 pounds. (This is not necessarily the "Actual" total weight)

The photo shows CPR 2634 being moved along Main Street in Moose Jaw on her way from her former home in Cresent Park to her present home at the Western Development Museum.  The photo was taken in the early to mid 70s.
