Does the previous note mean scrapping WILL begin on August 1st, or are the dates in the previous note incorrect?

Scrapping commenced on 1/8/2024. Parts from C58 19 were salvaged for the cosmetic restoration of C58 114. A single driving wheel is all that’s left of C58 19.
