Japan's railways were nationalised in 1906 as Japanese Government Railways (JGR), which was the title when this loco was delivered. Japanese National Railways (JNR) only came about in 1949. I will change it to JGR, not JNR.

This is O&K 5805/1912 previously delivered to Japanese Railways as their No. 201. It later went to Taiwanese Railways as No. LCK 31 and preserved in that identity in Xincheng, Hualien County, Taiwan, where it was in 2013. It was built to a gauge of 762mm and has had no recorded change ?
