At the time this locomotive was built, the firm was Kitson, Thompson & Hewitson. The company had a number of partnerships from 1835, becoming Kitson, Thompson & Hewitson in 1851 and it remained as such until 1858, when Thompson left the company. It did not finally become Kitson & Co. until 1863, following the death of Hewitson.

Here is the correct information for the right locomotive this time. EIR No. 22 better known as The "Fairy Queen" is the world's oldest steam locomotive still in working order and in service at quite the vintage age of 158 years old. It has even been in the Guinness Book of Records since 1998 for being the world's oldest locomotive in regular operation after it was restored to haul a luxury train in order to boost tourism in Rajasthan. The "Fairy Queen" has recently been put back in to service again after a 5 year overhaul. It's quite the old timer indeed and a must to see and ride and again sorry for putting this info with the wrong loco.
