This locomotive is not under restoration. At least not mechanical. It is the 2-8-0 that is being restored mechanically. This engine might be under cosmetic restoration, however.

A follow-to to my earlier posting on this locomotive. It is now at the Kingston, New York shops of the Catskill Mountain Railroad. Here is a current photo:

The history of the "Unknown No. None 0-4-0T " located in Kingston, New York, can be found on page 9 of the Winter 2002 issue of the Empire State Railway Museum's publication, The Telegraphed Dispatch.

This engin is no longer in Sergeant..It was moved to Kane Pa. "I think" to be restored.
