4 days ago this locomotive was loaded onto a flatbed trailer and is being taken to the Cotton Belt railroad yard in Rusk for restoration.

i had heard that 20 was kept operable as a boiler to provide plant steam in pineland temple mill until 1985.

MY DAD (LOUIS BELL) KEPT THIS ENGINE #20 RUNNING UNTIL THE LATE 1960's.  I USE TO PLAY ON THIS ENGINE DOWN BEHIND THE TEMPLE LUMBER COMPANY MACHINE SHOP.
