This originally joined the then DRB during the closing years of WW2 as No. 52 3296 that, after acceptance in Frankfurt am Main was stored or worked from Schwerin before going into Military Administration in 1947, then adopted by the Soviets for the SZD as TE-3296 in 1952. It was renumbered as 1042.607-0 in the Soviet fleet during 1984 and in 1992 was found to be working, presumably re-gauged to 1524mm, during 1992, and thought to have been adopted by a White Russiam Railway Enthusiasts Club,, and by 1996 was stored in Brest.
