Originally delivered to the DR for the Eisfeld-Schönbrunn line, that once crossed the Harz network, outside Eisfeld, as No. 99 237, the locomotive took up it’s intended duties in 1973, and later as No. 99 7237. When DB took over it gained the EDP computer number 099 147-1, shortly afterwards in 1993 being sold to the HSB GmbH. Whilst the EDP is still appropriate inside the cab, it externally reverted to a DR identity.
