Delivered to DRB as No. 52 532 to whom it served for a couple of years until sequestrated by the Soviets for used with the SZD as No. TE-532 in their constituent territories. It was only returned to the now East German DR in 1962 and went to their Raw Stendal in early 1966 for conversion to a Rekolok, emerging as No. 52 8160; four years later becoming number 52 8160-5. It was withdrawn from service in November 1992, whereupon it moved to the VSM in the Netherlands.
