Delivered to the DB in the then West Germany towards the end of 1952 as No. 23 023 based in Trier, it was computerised as No. 23 023-5 from the start of 1968 and survivided in service until the end of 1975 and withdrawn from Bw Lehrte and later purchased privately by W E Hendrikse, Delft for the SSN of Rotterdam, where it remains.
