Well i was just at Morgan Run or where Ohio Central stores engines and this engine was not there.

578 was one of two 4-6-2 E2a's still operating on the N&W in the 1950's. Hopefully someday she will ride the rails again like she was built to do.

There was an article in the columbus paper that the engine was sold to a restorer in coshocton so i assume that means the ohio central has it now or will soon.

This engine was operable in the 1970's.
