This is one of two unique locomotives, the other being No. 8521, which during WW2 because of the Swiss shortage of coal, was fitted with a pantograph above it’s cab to collect electric current for the 7 tonne heating devices fitted in their boilers to make steam; proving extremely costly.

After a lengthy overhaul this locomotive is in working order again.

September 6 and 7 2008 it steamed during the festivities celebrating 125 years of "Seetalbahn"
