This locomotive was originally Nordostbahn (NOB) No. 253, subsequently re-numbered 453. When the company, with four others, formed the SBB in 1902 it became their No. 8551, lastly being sold to the private Swiss ship company Reederei AG, of Basel before being withdrawn in 1963 and displayed at a playground at Kleinhhüningen (Basle).

This locomotive now is at Bahnpark Brugg, Brugg, Switzerland, housed in the roundhouse (where my photo was taken).
