Since the last note, the engine has returned to service again and is making quite a splash in southern Ohio operating on the HVSR. Hats off to a successful restoration by the HVSR team.

The # 3 is in the shop. The tender is almost complete. The engine has been lifted from the brass, everthing checked, and is setting back on its axeles and is getting a rolling test in August 2010. The boiler is to be removed and boiler work is to be completed the winter of 2010, and planned reinstalled the spring of 2011. The cab hsa been restored and is awaiting instlation. Hvs N0.3 is in the shops undergoing restortation and there still has been no date yet set for it to be finished.

Ohio Power#3 is in the process of  being returned to service.  No exact date has been set and the overhaul progresses as time permits.
