This is/was a singular superheated tank locomotive built for the extensive gradients of the S - M - B (i.e. the ‘u’ in Munster has no ‘ü’ as in Germany’). The line was electrified in 1932 and the locomotive placed in reserve until 1966 when it was put on display in Oberdorf.
