The loco is being overhauled, in December 2021, the boiler was sent to the North Norfolk Railway in UK for overhaul and a new fire-box. When complete the old fire-box will be returned to Switzerland for display purposes.

The locomotive was originally No 1 ‘RHÄTIA’ of the Landquart - Davis Railway (L -D) that became part of the RhB in1895, the locomotive keeping it’s same identity.

May 1, 2008, on Blonay-Chamby museum line (40 years of Blonay-Chamby museum line) RhB # 1 "Rhätia" was there as a guest locomotive
