This info come's from a book "The Nickel Plate Story" by John A. Rehor, printed in 1965 from Kalmbach Publication. #755 was laid up at Conneaut, Ohio in December 1957. Overhauled March-April 1958 and stored thereafter. It was Donated to the city of Conneaut "Historical Railroad Museum" in October of 1964. In 1944 it came with Illuminated Numberboard's as original equipment, in 1947 it was equipped with a Valve Pilot Speed Recorder. Some time from 1950 to 1951 a Mars Oscillating Headlight was installed on top of the Original Headlight. In 1955 it was installed with a Train Radio and an additional Turbogenerator.

Conneaut Railroad Museum is a very nice community museum.  NKP 755 has been maintained about as well as any locomotive out of doors for 40 years could be.  Adjacent to former NYC mainline.
