A very recent post has popped up for this engine on a FaceBook Group. It seems the place owning the engine wants rid of it, and has ben trying to do so for the past 2 or 3 years, along with the German tank engine net to it. However, it seems to be in very sorry shape. It has a very rare type of rot, as if it has been exposed to chemical over a prolonged time. Probably due to the steel mills once found in the town. It cannot be made operable, and will have a tough time finding a home.

Since the last note was posted in 2009, very little has changed for this locomotive. The condition of the locomotive is reletively unchanged from the past decade. As with its smaller "stablemate" nearby, some foiliage has popped up over the decade. I am honestly not sure if the University of Akron even has this locomotive or the other switcher on their radar. Aside from the hotel, there is not a lot of activity or commerce in this corner of Akron anymore, despite the downtown beginning to see a revitalization of sorts.

Loco is in pretty bad condition. Very rusted and tired looking.
