The book on Finnish locomotives from Stenvalls shows that Finnish State Railways ordered 14 locos for the new line from Tampere to Vaasa which became 302 to 315 renumbered in 1887 to 101 to 114. 110 was withdrawn in 1929 and preserved. The Hanomag listing shows it for the Wasa Eisenbahn

This locomotive was first delivered to the Hangö-Hyvinge Railway as their No. 110 (NOT VR). Following independence from Russia in 1917, and after VR was created, it became their No. 311.
