Last I heard 6325 is on Overhaul for 15 year inspection since 2004

I think 1551 or 1278 is next. I talked to Jerry Jacobson in September of 08 and he says he wants to get 1551 running again. I also talked to Kelly Lynch and he says OHCR is going to try for the ones that have not been rebuilt yet, such as 1278, 96, and 3960.

The railroad is working on 763,hopefully 6325 is next for repairs.

I am sorry to say that #6325 is in bad condition for being run just three years ago. Her third driver is bent out and she has a bad tender truck.

I would not get too worried about it though, they would not buy more steam engines (33 for instance) if they didnt intend to run anymore. I do miss the daily trains - nothing like sitting back on the Sugarcreek platform with #1551 steaming in the winter snow.

Brian, yup. It says this on the front page as well (at first I thought the comment may have just because none were added yet) "In the last 15 years, the Ohio Central has brought six steam locomotives back to life, however, we will not operate any public passenger trains in 2005"

Unless I can't read, the schedual for 2005 clearly states "NO excursions are planned for the 2005 season"

Both not true, OHCR is running steam on a monthly(or daily) schedule of excursions. See:Ohio Central Excursion Schedule

Not true the OC steamers will still be operating limited scheduals.

You should change the status of all th OC steamers including 6325 to Stored servicable after May 24 2003
