In NSW Australia, we have two of this type of saddle tank steam locomotives preserved, the following were built by Barclay in Scotland. They are Alison and Marian, both are now preserved, Marian is a Dorrigo Steam Railway & Museum, far North Coast NSW. and Alison is currently at New South Wales Rail Transport Museum, just south of Sydney. Both are in storage, but Alison may be heading to another society, Glenreigh Mountain Railway, on the other side of the Dorrigo line. Two other close sister locos are Marjorie built by Clyde Engineering of Sydney NSW in 1938, being a copy of Kathleen built by Avonside in 1921, Bristol England. Both are preserved at Richmond Vale Railway Museum, Marjorie is in operating condition, with Kathleen being restored to service by late 2006.

Thank you.
