The overhaul of former War Department Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 9 is now underway at Aviemore shed.

Restoration work on ex War Department Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 9 to steam again is now underway at Aviemore shed.

Ex War Department Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 75061 or No. 9 is currently in storage at Aviemore out of use as its boiler ticket ran out in the late 2000s. Its unknown if the loco will be overhauled anytime soon.
