Renishaw bowed out of traffic in October. Its last run was a coal train and it sounded amazing from the lineside. It is now stored in Marley Hill shed.

The boiler ticket expires in November this year. I think with an extension being sought after to run the Santa Specials. If this can not be gained then the railway's smaller motive power will have to do the job

Renishaw is operational at the moment and its ticket expires in either 2013 or 2014.

The Tanfield Railway Gala 2007 was a great success. Renishaw being there and working on the weekend was great. on the Friday Night Photographic Evening, 14th September, it was blowing-off at 175psi which is almost 25psi over the red danger line! it was a great weekend and the engine ran the coal train both days so it was worked hard. Ah reet JonnyC??
