The previous comment about 5539 relocating to Blaenavon is inaccurate. A recent photo has emerged confirming that the Small Prairie is still at the Barry Tourist Railway where progress continues to be made on its restoration.

In a suprise move the ex GWR 4500 Class Small Prairie 2-6-2T No. 5539 has left the Barry Tourist Railway and has relocated to its new home at the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway at Blaenavon, Monmouthshire in South Wales. No. 5539 owned by Hugh Shipton is in the final stages of a long restoration from Barry Scrapyard condition as the main chassis along with the cab, wheels, side tanks and coal bunker are all complete and the boiler is at Flour Mill Works at Bream in Gloucestershire where work on it is nearly done.

5539 is said to be at the Barry Tourist Railway in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. Where its currently in storege there.
