I've reluctantly moved Marcin Wojtuszkiewicz's photo of the loco running in Poland to the album and the latest primary photo is of it painted in unauthentic London Transport colours as part of the 150th year of the Underground celebrations. You can still see it in action in Poland by looking at the video.

The loco was on a visit to the Epping and Ongar Railway, the latest UK preserved railway using steam locos. Hopefully it will be repainted at some time and we can have a Great Western loco that is the right colour.

"it has been cleared to work on the Polish main line" actually it's a branchline Wroclaw Glowny - Jelcz Laskowice, but she's doing great job there, pulling 3 commuter trains a day, ofor one week each month

This engine is breaking new ground for the Great Western as it has been cleared to work on the Polish main line. Having appeared at Wolsztyn (see photograph) it continues its Eastern European Tour. It has hauled the Venice Simplon Orient Express in Hungary, starting from Budapest and running for 20 Km to Kelenfold. Not bad for a GWR suburban tank engine!
