The former War Department and Turkish State Railways 8F 2-8-0 No. 45160 (LMS No. 8274) has since left the Nottingham Heritage Railway (Great Central Railway Nottingham) and has been thought to be relocated to a private site at Malvern in Worcestshire, where last reports say that its owner maybe looking into overhauling it??

I think you should know that No. 8274 is not showing on the Browse UK section on locomotives in Nottinghamshire at all??

Former Turkish Railways 8F No. 8274 has been withdrawn from service at the Great Central Railway Nottingham due to cracks in the firebox. The loco has now been put in storage at Ruddington till such time it can be overhauled.

The location needs to be changed as 8F 8274 is at the Great Central Railway (Nottingham).

The 8F No. 45160 has since moved to the Great Central Railway (Nottingham). As it has been there since Christmas last year.

Stanier Class 8F / Turkish Republic Railways (TCDD) Class 45151 No. 45160 restored and operational at Toddington on 10th October 2010. Built by North British Locomotive Co. in 1940 for War Department service in France but never sent. Worked as LMS 8274 until 1941 before being sent to Turkey and became 41560. Returning to UK in 1989. Now carries TCDD plate with red number plate on cab side,crescent moon and star on tender and red number on smokebox.
