Now under the custodianship of the 5542 Ltd. The former GWR Large Prairie 2-6-2T No. 4160 has arrived at the South Devon Railway at Buckfastleigh in Devon where its overhaul will be completed and will be its home for the next 13 years or so.

The ex Great Western Railway Large Prairie 2-6-2T No. 4160 is relocating to the South Devon Railway at Buckfastleigh in Devon under a 13-year deal with Locomotive 5542 Ltd. owners of 5542 which have agreed to be custodians of 4160. The locomotive’s overhaul will be completed at Buckfastleigh and will operated at the South Devon Railway as well as being made available for hired visits to other preserved railways around the UK.

4160 is one of the line's resident locos.  Built just after nationalisation she is properly restored to her original British Railways livery and belongs to 4160 Ltd.  She is a member of the ex GWR 5101 Class of 4MT 2-6-2T Prairie tanks.  The class was introduced in 1929 based on a Collett rebuild of the Churchward 3100 Class.
