This little loco from Danish State Railways is out of gauge for most British lines, but will fit the Middleton Railway's structures. It arrived in Leeds in 1972 and has seen a lot of use in the past, although it is currently on display in the railway's museum. Locos of this design were built in the UK, by Robert Stephenson and Co. at Newcastle, but this one was built in Germany by Hartmann. Unusually, the builders plate is on the cylinder covers.
