Marston Thompson & Evershed .LTD No3

No.3 worked at Marston's Brewery in Burton On Trent from 1924 till approximatly 1955 where it fell second engine to rebuilt Baugley Marston No.4 (former Hawthorn Leslie). After that it worked 5 weeks of the year whilst No.4 was in for overhall. It left the brewery in 1967 for the New Foxfield Railway. After 3 years it left for Loughbrough. However after 3 more years, it was withdrawn from service for overhaul. It has never run since. In 1996 it returned to Foxfield. Restoration has been in progress since its withdrawal.
