No. 21 has now been confirmed as the next steam project at Fife Heritage Railway (KFRPS) Leven. Frames will be moved into the shed around February 2018 to begin work while funds are raised for the boiler which requires new inner firebox, smokebox, tubes and tubeplates.

NCB No. 21 known as “The Dubbie Pug” is now under restoration at the Fife Heritage Railway to see it put back in to steam again.

This loco is still stored in a derelict condition at Kirkland Yard, Leven.

The Lochty Railway has been closed for some years.

Its stock is in the course of being moved to the centre run by the Kingdom of Fife Railway Preservation Society at the former Kirkland marshalling yard at Leven, near Methil, Fife. See www.kfrps.co.uk/
