The former United Steel Companies Ltd. Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST (Works No. 1931) No. 2 has been withdrawn from service having come to the end of its current boiler ticket and is now awaiting overhaul.

The former United Steel Companies Ltd. Andrew Barclay built No. 2 has gone on loan to the Colne Valley Railway in Essex where it will stay till Easter 2018 there.

When seen at the Pontypool and Blaenavon Rly, 14 September 2014 it had the following on the tank side. "The United Steel Companies Ltd,Ore Mining Branch, Cottesmore Mines"

This loco is now running at the Rutland Railway Museum having had a very extensive overhaul.
