Following completion of its overhaul and testing along with running in trials, the ex War Department and Longmoor Military Railway Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 192 "Wagonner" is now back in service again at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.

The ex War Department and Longmoor Military Railway Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 192 "Wagonner" had its cab and chimney refitted and is now nearly complete as it is now in the final stages of its overhaul and will soon enter service at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway this year in 2023.

The ex War Department and Longmoor Military Railway Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 192 "Wagonner" is one step closer to returning to steam again, as its boiler was craned back into the frames of the locomotive. No. 192 is expected back into traffic again at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway very soon.

The Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 192 "Wagonner" is currently undergoing its 10 year overhaul in the workshops at Havenstreet.

The Army Transport Museum has, sadly, closed. Money seems to be the problem, and the future of the exhibits is an open question. There is a suggestion of some alternative in Catterick. We'll have to wait and see.
