I cannot understand why there is mis-spelling of Berkshire - it is correct in the Editor area. The information about the county was originally correct. The issue is the inability of the UK to retain the boundaries of its historic counties. As I have got older I have seen the original boundaries that I knew dissolve into chaos. Hence the previous note.

Bershire should be Oxfordshire

The ex GWR Sentinel built 4wVBGT No. 12 "Isebrook", has since relocated to the Cholsey & Wallingford Railway at Cholsey in Berkshire, where it has been based since 2019 as their main steam locomotive there.

Recently returned former GWR Sentinel Isebrook is currently, I believe, on-loan to the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway.

Ex Great Western Railway No. 12 is seen at the Buckingham Railway Centre in April 1988. This loco, now at Uckfield, was develivered to the GWR on 1 October 1926 and worked local passenger trains in the Fowey area of Cornwall for three months before being returned to the Sentinal works where it became their yard shunter. In the early thirties it was sold to Thos. E Grey Ltd becoming no. 2 at their Isebrook Quarry, Burton Latimer, Northants where it worked until 1958. It was restored in 1979 using the reconditined boiler from sister loco "Dom" (Works no. 6994)

This locomotive left Quainton a few years ago. I understand that it is for sale but don't know its current location
