The Festiniog Railway’s 1992 built Double-Fairlie 0-4-0+0-4-0T No. 12 "David Lloyd George" recently returned to service following a 10 year overhaul in a rapid time only lasting from October 2022 to May of 2023! Since being tested No. 12 is back in service hauling trains again on both the Festiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway.

Converted to burn coal in 2014, when Ffestiniog changed back to coal firing. This loco had been oil fired since its construction in 1992.
