The overhaul of ex Metropolitan Railway 0-4-4T Met No. 1, has been changed to a cosmetic overhaul now as the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre have decided to postpone the return to steam on hold for now. Met No. 1 will be done up for display for the time being.

The ex Metropolitan Railway 0-4-4T Met No. 1 has now been withdrawn from service and is now undergoing its 10 year overhaul.

After spending the 2019 season at the Epping Ongar Railway in Essex former Metropolitan Railway 0-4-4T Met No. 1 is returning home to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre for the winter.

Metropolitan Railway 0-4-4T Met No. 1 has had its loan extended and will be staying on at the Epping Ongar Railway in Essex for the 2019 season there.

The Metropolitan Railway 0-4-4T Met No. 1 has gone back on loan to the Epping Ongar Railway where it will be staying there for the winter and 2018 season.

Met No. 1 is currently visiting the Mid Norfolk Railway for the summer season there before it heads in to London for some steam on the met specials in Sepember.
