The unique ex British Gas Light Co. and Brookfield Foundry Kerr Stuart & Co built "Witch" Class 0-4-0ST Works No. 4388 is now back in steam again for the first time since 1999. Its overhaul and rebuild has seen a lot of work carried out which has seen the fitment of a new saddle tank. The locomotive will enter traffic at the Foxfield Railway during their Made in Stoke Gala in September 2022.

The unique ex British Gas Light Co. and Brookfield Foundry Kerr Stuart & Co built "Witch" Class 0-4-0ST Works No. 4388 which is owned by Jack Dibnah son of the legendry Fred Dibnah has been steamed for the first time since 1999 and is now in its final stages of overhaul.

The unique ex British Gas Light Co. and Brookfield Foundry Kerr Stuart & Co built "Witch" Class 0-4-0ST Works No. 4388 has been bought by its new owner Jack Dibnah son of the legendry Fred Dibnah. The locomotive is to be overhauled back into service with the aim of completing it in time for Christmas!
