This is a replica of the 1831 locomotive "York", the first B&O locomotive.

Built in Baltimore & Ohio shops in 1927 for use in the Fair of the Iron Horse.  It also was at the Chicago World's Fair in 1933-4.  Donated to Museum of Science & Industry in 1934 or later.  Boiler pressure in 115 psi.
