The former Imperial Chemical Industries Hawthorn Leslie & Co. built 0-6-0ST Works No. 3437 "Isabel", is visiting the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre as extra motive power for the festive season to work their Santa Specials and Panto Express from the 30th of November into Christmas 2024.

The Hawthorn Leslie & Co. built 0-6-0ST "Isabel" has a fresh 10 year boiler ticket and is now back in service at the Epping Ongar Railway. The loco will be making its debut in to traffic this weekend.

"Isabel" is in its final stages of its overhaul as it has recently passed its steam boiler test and should be back in traffic at the Epping Ongar Railway in time for there Fifth anniversary steam gala on the 29th of September till the 1st of October.

This classic Hawthorn Leslie saddle tank loco is set to move to Ongar in 2011, having been for sale in 2010.
