The ex NCB Cadley Hill Colliery Bagnall built 0-6-0ST Works No. 3061 "Empress" has now been withdrawn from service due to boiler tube failer and will now undergo its 10 year overhaul.

No. 3061 "Empress" has been sold to the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway in South Wales and has relocated there. The locomotive is making its debut at its new home at their Steam Gala this weekend on the 15th and 16th of September 2018.

In a surprise move the former NCB Cadley Hill Colliery Bagnall built 0-6-0ST "Empress" has been put up for sale by its owner to go to a good new home.

Empress is currently gone on loan to the Lavender Line and I think it might be staying for the 2016 season.
