As of from the 1st April 2014 the loco will be under new ownership and located at the Royal Deeside Railway near Aberdeen. Currently in full working order.

The loco had been steamed and moved under its own power by early December. Repainted in a lighter shade of green and fully lined out, it looks less severe than on the 1960's photo.

This rather austere Barclay saddle tank ran for a while on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, but was too small for regular use there. However it has recently reached the final stages of an overhaul and may run again before Christmas. It would be nice to see an up to date photo of it instead of my poor 1960's efforts!
