The former Courtaulds Ltd. Peckett built 0-4-0ST Works No. 1722 "Rocket" has been withdrawn from service for its 10 year overhaul, having hauled its last trains at the Telford Steam Railway on the 4th of June 2023.

Rocket is making a rare trip away from her home line at Telford to visit the Dean Forest Railway for their 50th Anniversary gala on 23-24th October. She will be used on brakevan rides, much like the very first trains of 1970 hauled by similar engine Uskmouth No. 1.
