Yes, it is coal fired and 24". Saw it recently in Bristol. Nice little steam locomotive.

Once again, the gauge should be 24", and I believe the fuel is coal.

The second locomotive Edwin Link is a different locomotive it was Mr. Links locomotive which was at Harbor Branch Foundation and when he passed it was donated to the Gold Coast Railroad. Edwin Link was part of the Johnson Sea Link under water sub used for deep explorations.

This locomotive operated at Lion Country Safari in Loxahatchee, FL, then put on display after the railroad was shut down. It was donated to the Gold Coast Railroad Museum in the mid 1980's (my father, brother and I moved it), but never operated there.

This engine was sold to the Veterans Memorial Railroad in Bristol, Florida (Panhandle...near Tallahassee) completely restored (blue steel boiler jacket) with a new tender.  It is still now in Boca Raton, Florida at Ray Lanzi's.  The loco on compressed air that runs at the museum was another Crown 24" gauge owned by Ed Link.

This engine is now owned by Ray Lanzi, he restored it to operational condition and is now selling it.  There's another 24" gauge Crown that runs on air at the museum that is still there.
