The overhaul on ex Haydock Collieries Haydock Foundry built 0-6-0WT "Bellerophon" is now underway at the Foxfield Railway as dismantling the locomotive has begun.

After hauling its last trains at the Foxfield Railway during their Steam Gala last weekend the ex Haydock Collieries Haydock Foundry built 0-6-0WT "Bellerophon" has now been withdrawn from service for its 10 year overhaul which will take place at Foxfield.

Former Haydock Collieries Haydock Foundry 1874 built 0-6-0WT "Bellerophon" is also to visit the Severn Valley Railway for Spring Steam Gala on the 16th-18th March 2018. Which this will be its first ever visit there.
