Thanks to some recent discovery, 1246 is now at The Naugatuck Railroad's new restoration shops & which it's rebuilt will began next spring. I think it's great to see that Connecticut is having another steam railroad in the future.

Sold at Steamtown auction October 1988 to Railroad Museum of New England (formerly Ct. Valley RR Museum), Thomaston, CT.  1246 is on display at Valley RR, Essex, CT

No. 1246 was recently moved along with other RMNE equipment stored previously on the Valley Railroad to RMNE property at Waterbury, CT.
