The North British Locomotive Preservation Group newsletter for April 2023 reports that the museum at Klerksdorp has closed and the exhibits are abandoned. A photo of it showed that part of the valve gear had been dismantled so presumably any non ferrous metal parts had been stolen. What a shame.
