Victorian Railways R753 entered service in April 1952 until October 1965. Loco was acquired by the R707 group to supply spares for their running loco. Its been dismantled. The tender body and cab are in workshops. The locomotive chassis, boiler and tender bogies are somewhere in the old Newport Workshops which are not normally open to the public.
