The ex Yates & Duxbury Ltd. Peckett built 0-4-0ST Works No. 1370 "May", will be visiting Whitwell and Reepham station in Norfolk for two Gala weekends being held there on the 24th and 25th February and 2nd and 3rd March 2024.

The ex Yates & Duxbury Ltd. Peckett built 0-4-0ST Works No. 1370 "May" has been sold by the Beet family to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre at Quainton Road in Buckinghamshire where it has now relocated too as its new home.

The ex Yates & Duxbury Ltd. Peckett built 0-4-0ST Works No. 1370 "May" has been put up for sale by its owners the Beet family to see the locomotive move on to a new home.

Amazingly just under three months the ex Yates & Duxbury Ltd. Peckett built 0-4-0ST No. 1370 "May" is back in service from overhaul again with a fresh 10 year boiler ticket. The locomotive was returned to the Beamish Open Air Museum on the 10th of December 2019.

The former Yates & Duxbury Ltd. Peckett built 0-4-0ST No. 1370 "May" is now out of service having last ran in 2018. The locomotive has since left Beamish and has been moved to Old Hall Farm at Bouth in Cumbria for overhaul there.

The little Peckett 0-4-0ST May has gone on loan to the Beamish open air museum and might be staying for the 2017 season.
